Ritesh Batra is a bay area based screenwriter. He studied screenwriting at UCLA, he has written several feature scripts, one of which has been optioned. His first feature screenplay was selected for Mira Nair's Maisha Film Lab. He currently has one feature project and one documentary project in development. The documentary – '12 days of Ganesha' will be shot in Bombay in September 2008. His short film 'The Morning Ritual' is currently on the festival circuit.
